Project Configuration Page

You can find the configurate page under Apps -> AI Test Case Generator Configuration page. On the page, you can define per project you testing strategy and configuration. Click on the Edit button on a project row and select:

  • Test Strategy - Whether you want to use ad-hoc testing, jira tickets, or an integration with your test management system. Note: to use an integration, additional set-up is required in the admin config which you can find on the next page.
  • Test Style - Whether your project uses classic step - expected result style test cases or BDD
  • Granularity - Whether you want a single high level test case covering all functionality, or separate the testing in multiple granular test cases
  • If you're using an integration or want to create Jira tickets, some extra config is required such as the project where to create the test cases, the issue type, etc.

Now the Generate Test Case button on your Jira tickets is adjusted to the preferred strategy for your project. Per ticket you can always select a different strategy by using the dropdown next to the button.

Integrating with your test management system? You'll need to enable the integration on the admin page. See the next page on how to do this.
