Poker page

The poker page is where you can start a new poker session and see an overview of the poker session progress. You can find the page by going to Jira -> Your desired project board -> (More ->) Async Poker

Start a new poker session

On the poker page, you can select the board and sprint that you want to poker. This will load all issues that are assigned to the specific sprint. Click the Start Poker button to open the dialog and start assigning poker players. By default, all issues of the sprint will be selected for the poker session. If you want to exclude an issue, you can click the X and the issue will disappear from the list. Select all poker players to participate and click Start Poker.

View existing poker status

Now that you have started async poker, you can see the progress on the page. You can always switch between boards and sprints on the poker page to see the status of different sprints.

In this view, you can easily assign poker estimates to each issue. Once all players have assigned estimates for an issue, the value will be displayed for the given issue. If needed, you can also restart the poker session.

Another option is to click on the issue link and enter the poker estimate within the context of the ticket. See the next page for more info.
